Memory chip shortages expected to last until 2030

4h agoVia The RegisterWritten for Lucame clients

SK Hynix, one of the world's largest memory chip makers, says it expects shortages of DRAM and NAND flash memory to continue well into the next decade. Strong AI infrastructure demand is consuming supply that would otherwise flow into PCs, servers and smartphones.

What this means for your business

If you're refreshing hardware on a budget, talk to us about phasing purchases carefully rather than deferring them indefinitely.
