Teams to show activity from multiple accounts in one view

11h agoVia M365 RoadmapWritten for Lucame clients

Microsoft is adding a panel to Teams that lets you see notifications, chats, and channel activity from your other accounts and organisations without having to switch between tenants. At the moment, if you belong to more than one Teams environment, you have to toggle between them manually, which means it's easy to miss messages. The preview is due in November 2026, with general availability in January 2027.

What this means for your business

If your staff work across multiple organisations, or if your firm is a guest in a client's Teams environment, this will save a fair bit of back-and-forth. It's worth flagging to anyone who currently juggles two or more Teams accounts, as they'll be able to keep on top of everything from a single window. No action needed yet, but it's worth knowing this is coming so you can plan any workflow changes ahead of early 2027.
