We are based in Finchley. Weekdays we look after small firms around North London and the City. Evenings and weekends we are usually fixing someone's Wi-Fi three streets away. Same engineers either way.
Day-to-day support, Microsoft 365, security, networks and the cabling underneath all of it. One number, and the person who answers has been in your building.
Most of our clients here are small professional firms. Solicitors, accountants, surveyors, estate agents, a few clinics, and a lot of businesses working out of a converted first floor above a shop.
Patchy Wi-Fi, lighting systems nobody can work, a laptop that takes four minutes to open a browser, photos stuck on a drive that has stopped being recognised.
We also do the bigger jobs: home automation on Control4 and Lutron, CCTV, multi-room audio, cinema rooms, and custom gaming builds.
Most IT work happens remotely now, and that suits everyone. We fix the majority of problems without anyone getting in a car.
But a failed switch, a cable run through a false ceiling, a Wi-Fi survey, a weekend office move, a server that will not come back up: none of that can be done from a desk. That is when the distance matters. A firm on an industrial estate in Reading will offer you a four hour window. We can usually be there the same morning.
Knowing the buildings helps too. Wi-Fi behaves one way in a converted Victorian terrace off Hendon Lane and quite another in a modern office near Finchley Central. Guessing wrong costs you a second visit.
Finchley sits in the London Borough of Barnet. We cover the borough and the areas around it on site, and the whole of the UK remotely.
The same handful of things, over and over, in offices and houses alike.
Period buildings, thick walls, and a router left wherever the phone line happened to come in. Almost always fixed by moving things rather than buying faster broadband. This is the single most common call we get, from firms and families in roughly equal numbers.
Set up years ago by someone who has since left. Old accounts still live, permissions nobody can explain, no MFA anywhere. We take it over and sort it out.
Leases turn over often around here. Cabling, broadband transfer, kit moved and working. The point is that Monday is not a write-off.
Usually the disk, not the machine.
Plenty of firms have one. Far fewer have ever restored from it. We test it, because an untested backup is a guess.
Usually the job is distribution rather than the dish. Getting Sky, Freesat or whatever you watch out to the bedrooms, the kitchen and the garden room, on one subscription, without a box and a remote in every room. We also sort the Sonos that has dropped half its rooms off the app, which is nearly always a Wi-Fi problem wearing a different hat.
Clients and insurers are asking for it now, particularly of the legal and financial firms round here. We prepare the evidence and handle the submission. It is less painful than people expect.
Forty-five minutes, on site or remote. We look at what you have: devices, licences, backups, network kit, who can get at what. Then we tell you where the risk sits and roughly what it costs to deal with.
You get it in writing either way. Some firms take that document and fix things themselves. That is fine.
Tell us roughly how many people, what software you cannot work without, and who looks after your IT now. Enough for a first conversation.
Call and describe it however makes sense. A couple of photos usually tells us whether it is a half hour fix or a bigger job, before anyone comes out.
Call 020 3039 3922, or send a message and we will come back to you the same working day.
