The most mixed patch we cover. Georgian houses in Hampstead, mansion blocks around Swiss Cottage, creative businesses in Camden Town, and serviced offices towards Holborn.
Camden Town and Kentish Town are full of small creative businesses: production, design, music, photography. They need things a typical office does not, mainly fast shared storage and upload paths that finish before a deadline.
Further south it is professional: chambers, consultancies and practices in serviced offices, where the building provides the internet and you have very little say over it. Getting a proper network inside someone else's building is a job in itself.
Hampstead and Belsize Park have the oldest and most protected housing we work in. Listed facades, lath and plaster, basements, and four or five storeys with no obvious route between them.
Mansion blocks around Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead bring the opposite problem: solid floors, communal risers, and a freeholder whose permission you need for anything.
Two constraints shape nearly every Camden job. The first is age: a listed Hampstead house cannot be drilled and chased like a 1960s semi, so the work is about finding routes through existing voids, and it takes longer than people expect.
The second is control. In a mansion block or a serviced office you do not own the riser, the hallway or the incoming line. We have spent a lot of time negotiating with managing agents, and knowing what they will and will not allow saves a wasted visit.
For the creative businesses the pressure is different again. A production company with four editors pulling from one drive will find the limit of a consumer NAS within a month. We size storage for the team you are about to have rather than the one you had when you bought it.
On site throughout Camden, with remote support anywhere in the UK.
Protected buildings, shared buildings, and creative businesses outgrowing their storage.
No chasing, no surface trunking. We route through voids and under floors, and we tell you honestly where it cannot be done neatly.
Communal risers and a managing agent to satisfy. We handle that conversation.
The building gives you one line and no control. We build a proper network inside it, with your own firewall.
Shared storage sized for the team you are becoming.
Nothing wireless reaches a Hampstead basement. A cable does.
It was never going to work. One access point per floor, cabled, is the answer.
Forty-five minutes, on site or remote. We look at what you have: devices, licences, backups, network kit, who can get at what. Then we tell you where the risk sits and roughly what it costs to deal with.
You get it in writing either way. Some firms take that document and fix things themselves. That is fine.
Tell us roughly how many people, what software you cannot work without, and who looks after your IT now.
Call and describe it however makes sense. A couple of photos usually tells us whether it is a half hour fix or a bigger job.
